I bought it as a 'magic snaffle' (Whatever that is!!) but have never used it as the rings are tiny and it would look ridiculous on Charlie, to me it looks more like a Bradoon  What do you think?

I'm about to list it on Fleabay so quick answers please :D

I know it as a magic snaffle. I like you think its a bradoon too really. Not sure why the are called Magic Snaffles" though, horse at our yard has one.

yes it is a magic bit - the rings are tiny and the diameter is very thin. Its very straight and wouldnt have thought would have fitted round the tongue very well

I know it as a magic snaffle. I had one on my previous horse who could get very on his forehand when out cantering on a hack and it was fantastic at stopping this happening and keeping his light in the hand with good brakes.

I was told that it was originally developed for small ponies who leaned on their small riders.

Its called a Magic Bit - Fylde Saddlery sell them. Sometimes its called a Cambridge snaffle or a ported loose ring.

If listing on Ebay I'd use all three in the advert Saying something along the lines of "5 inch Magic bit (also known as a Cambridge snaffle) it is a ported mouthpeics on small loose rings"
