Don't tell anyone - but I really like your Highland. He looks like really good fun!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Thanks, I like him too :p :D Wouldn't swap him for a yard full of scopey sjers, GP dressage horses or the like (though I do appreciate their beauty - from a distance!) :cool: Mostly because I know my limitations :cool:

today i think i would be more suited to this:o and even this might be too much for me

Having had to cycle to the farm because of lack of brakes on car I am knackered, never knew i was so unfit:eek:

A nice sensible cob. This has always been my ideal, as I am not competitive or brave. I have had 4 horses now, none of them my ideal.

15.1 tb/idXarab, 3yo.
14.2 Section D 3yo driver.
15.1 cbXcob, 5yo driver (bonkers)

And worst of all, a 16.2 11yo hunter type of unknown training....and me 55 years old.

Stupid or what? He's really cuddly though, if all else fails!:D

Can't vote (or even see it) on stupid mobile H&H:(

I love ponies and their nippiness but sadly far tall for them. Ditto arabs:usually a bit small for me

I enjoy riding the huge moving WB in the arena but they're not really agile enough for the kind of hacking we do and even for some hunting (big long gangly legs!)

My ideal horse would be large lightweight Turbo Cob, or MW hunter type of about 16.2. Nippy, agile and forwards with nimble feet. Needs to be fairly broad as I don't like the narrow horses to sit on.

What I HAVE is a ploddy 14.3 MW cob (although less ploddy now he's fitter) and a massively leggy ISH baby who moves like a WB and looks like he's going to make 17hh+ :eek: Mix them together and i'd have my perfect horse ;)
