What's wrong with Fodhla

Hopefully it will be just a bug, good luck with getting the urine sample and fingers crossed that she improves. I would give the dog school session a miss, in case she is contagious
but if she is feeling pretty grotty she will not enjoy it. Sending ear rubs (or whatever she likes) and crossing fingers
 
Did you ever see such a sad looking doggy. She's extra clingy atm. She has had a not very good but not scary looking poo and she has eaten a small bit of kibble and porridge (her favourite). Hopefully will be feeling better soon. Cuddles are the order of the day and yes she loves an ear rub 😍

They go from ‘dying’ to ‘nowt wrong with me’ in hours, never fails to amaze me. I wouldn’t take her anywhere tomorrow, definitely not in the same space as other dogs.

I remember rocking Bear as a youngster, sobbing, he was totally limp, I thought he was dying, think he’d scavenged something in the field. Totally fine the next day.
 
She may have ate something horrible and had a sore tummy I've seen similar before with a friends dog they find all sorts of rubbish vile stuff x

Just to add my wheelie bin was reeking so I washed it and scrubbed it yesterday and there was some horrible stuff that was at the bottom when I tipped it on the drain I thought yuk, scrubbed drain left hose on it for ages but the dogs still ran out and was licking it 🤮

Today Fodhla has eaten, had a proper wee and a poo, is drinking, and though still a little bit tired she initiated some play with my dad so I'd say she's definitely feeling a little better. I even managed to catch a sample. She hates her probiotoc though so that's a bit awkward getting it into her. All in all I'm not overly worried about her anymore.

We obviously gave dog school a miss so we're going to do a one on one hopefully next week because this trainer really and truly gets her and has really helped with some of her impulse issues. She has done what everyone else has failed to do which is to get her civilised on the lead. We've tried two other trainers, one of whom just seemed to think she's a spaniel she'll never get it 🙄 and another who seemed to help but then dropped off the face of the earth when we tried to reach out for follow up.

Anyway, I digress but the upshot is she's feeling a lot better.
 
Glad Fodhla is on the mend. I was concerned it might be a blockage when I first read your post. One of our working collies had a blockage a few months ago and it was some sort of weird rubber type bung thing (maybe from a dog toy, although we are careful not to leave toys lying around). He was very poorly but made a full recovery thankfully and is now back at work.
 
I'm really late to the party but I had something very similar with Fizz recently. She ended up getting worse on the prebiotic so we stopped feeding it but she perked up again after a couple of days. I go into instant panic mode with her given her age and her history with pancreatitis.

Glad Fodhla is back on herself too. They do like to worry us I swear!
