As the title - I have some Christmas money and would like to fantasy shop! Problem is I can't think of a lot I really need (the downside to having ponies that live out 24/7, unrugged, unfed, unshod, kind of untouched). I am going to be starting one of them as soon as it dries up enough to put something on her back, have got my sheepskin numnah, TC saddle, stirrups etc, have a cheap bridle but not sure I want to splash out on that just yet as hoping to get a made to measure one when she is definitely fully grown.
I would like a sheepskin girth sleeve, and maybe a cotton numnah to go over the sheepskin one to brighten us up some days! Or a high vis numnah (could you put a saddlecloth over a numnah do you think?). Or any funky hi vis for tails or the front end. Or anything else I really need (!) but can't think of cos it's been too long since I thought of this kind of thing?!

Or just a good online store I can browse around would be great :)

I really rate Ayrequestrian.com. Stumbled across it as it had the best price for my hat. Delivery was super quick and customer service was brill as an item on my order was out of stock so they emailed saying it would be sent directly from the manufacturer and that arrived quick too.

Avoid Country and Stable of Olney. They take your money then order the stuff. Very irritating as it doesn't say it's not in stock on their site.

Used Equine superstore for the first time (after the above let me down, again - for the last time!). Ordered a rug late Christmas Eve and it came yesterday. Was pleased with that.

Naylors another good company.

I ordered rugs from them on black Friday. They were brilliant and had dispatched the rugs before the end of the day.

The company I had problems with was Hope valley saddlery. They were a nightmare and I had to complain to the owner.

I like Naylors, and have always had excellent service from them- I definitely feel they've gone out of their way to give good customer service.

Also like Equestrian Clearance (or is it just Equestrian now?), mainly because I find their website super easy to navigate though! (I hate the robinsons website, it's awful and if I select to show a specific field it seems to include really random stuff- things like that tick me off!)

Twice I've ordered from them and twice they have not had the items in stock. Both rugs were more specialist items, but my problem is they didn't say they weren't in stock on their site or I wouldn't have bothered. Both times they phoned me 24 hours after I ordered, which the last time meant I had no chance of getting what I wanted before Christmas. I expect they only reduced stuff they actually had in the shop for Black Friday.

Ive had problems with country and stable of olney and repeated problems with hopevalley.

I find equestrian discount store and burnhills good for bargains.

interesting about hope valley. I ordered exactly the same rambo wug from both. (I wanted 2) When hope valley actually did something they sent the wrong size. Then they denied what they had told me on the phone and in the end Rambo had to sent a rug directly from Ireland to rectify the situation,. Maybe I was lucky with country and stable. I shan't be using hope valley again.

Thanks guys, seeing as it looks like another indoor day today I'll have a look through them all and see what I can find!! The hi vis threads have reminded I want a decent breastcollar thingy and probably another set of wraps to match the ones I got from my SS :-) but I'd like to see what else I can find, maybe something for me like new boots or chaps!

Ayr and Hope Valley usually. I don't think I have had any bad experiences buying equine stuff I had someone try to rip me off on eBay recently with a hay squeeze. When I said that I wanted to see it run up and working before I handed over the cash, he immediately relisted it. When I complained to eBay he accused me of failing to complete the transaction.

I love equestrian.com! I ordered Bromonts from them on Christmas Day as I thought they might sell out as they are such a good price. Didn't expect them to be dispatched until the new year but they arrived today!!

I like Naylors too. And Rideaway are great for customer service though perhaps not the best prices.

I've stopped using Equestrian Clearance and Robinsons as both websites are horrible to use. Plus EC prices really aren't that great any more and if I remember rightly, delivery is pricey too.

i get quite a bit from Ride-Away, The Saddlery Shop, Equestrian.com, and Premier Equine. I also (oops!) order Musto riding gear whenever they have a sale, direct from the Musto website.

We've always had great succes with Hope Valley and Naylors. I also like Eqco and Equiens browbands.

Equissentials Dressage are super. They put up with my mother badgering them for Christmas presents for Fergus, advising her on sizes and all sorts :)

We seem to be having issues with Faber and Co Equine though. I strongly suspect that's £50 we'll never see again...

Apparently they've had their Paypal suspended (again) so no one can buy anything off their website. There are still loads of people waiting for stuff from their Black Friday sale.

I've had good service from HVS, Fur Feather Meds, and Horse Health in the past. Also like Naylors :).

Never ever buy something from the 'Polite' hi vis people. I ordered 3 hi-vis sheets (as they're currently super cheap) and only 1 was what I'd ordered. The other 2 were the wrong size, and the one was the wrong size and the wrong item. Useless.

Equestrian Performance are another to avoid - took me 4 months to get the pair of breeches that I'd ordered, rather than the wrong size/colour/brand.
