or what is the best/worst ones you have heard?

My fav is crème de la crème, heard it once for a palomino!

Prima Virginias flame

Prima was the nf pony herd
Virginias because that's the name of the person that first owned him and flame because he is orange :D

He is called Douglas normally
 
I have Whitton Dancer and Puerto Rico. I have no idea why Pottie is Puerto Rico, but I think Denys is named after the stud and his sire.
 
'Ty' The horse who taught me to ride was Tyshon Star Of The East (TB Exracer)
'Vix' My first pony was called Victoria Plum, had her on loan (Section B)
'Petra' My First horse was Kempshills Little Pea (cob)
'Spenner' Horse i had on training was called SpiknSpan (TB Exracer)
'Ginny' i had on training wad called Ginnywazername (TB Exracer)
'Bitz' who was a horse i rode, was called A Bit Of Bother (heinz 57 lol)

'Darcy' My current horse is Field Master (TB Exracer)
'Crystal' My current pony is Meadowlands Serenade (British Riding Pony)

i love show names too, and researching pedigrees :)
 
Touchwood Hot Opposition aka Tommy and his full brother Touchwood Hot Spice aka Bradley. All the horses bred by the stud have the same prefix (obviously!) but they also all get a human name!
My previous ponies/horses were Sparky aka Westerton Vital Spark, Steele aka ES Silver Spirit, Brandy who had a horribly complicated German name! I always had to copy it from his passport because I always spelt it wrong! Then there was Sammy aka Kelso Lady Jane. My favorite ever names were Spanner aka Taking Care Of Business and Blazer aka Everest Hasty Exit!

Ballygarris Buachaill when I have to take it seriously, Dumbledore for everything else (his name is Albus/Alby)

Then Dyllan's is Apache Warrior. :D *snigger* the OH hates it but he was already named before we got him at 3 months old.
 
Mine is waltzing miss millicent, millie for short. Her dad was Darcy dancer do hence the waltzing bit! Mum has an ex racer called canucatcher or katcha for short
 
My ID boy is called Crystal Clear View - sounds like a pregnancy test kit!! :o:o His sire is Dunkerrin Grey Mist by Carrabawn View and dam Ardikellan Crystal so hence the name but I think I'll stick to Alfie :rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Worst :

Vulgaus Majistralis, can't say I miss that now he's dead !

Starlight - what some eejit called my 17 hand middleweight, and he's not even black, never mind a cute little pony.

Best:

Blade of Fortune, an ex racer. It really suited him.

Closely followed by Trickledown, another ex racer because that really suited her as well.
