Sorry about the very random post, but I am on school holidays and stuck in bed with a nasty fever.

Just wondering what all you horsey people do work wise? Or do you not work. I will be taking my options next year so need to start thinking about what I want to do. Would love to be an equine vet but I know it's going to be a lot of hard work and a lot of brain power is needed (which I might not have

Sorry for rambling on

Chartered Accountant with own business, but I only do part time hours due to small child so only really work school hours plus evenings. Very good as I can ride everyday even when its dark in the winter.

Bank clerk. Work part time due to ill health and having my daughter. However, wish I had stuck studying out and went to UNI as thenI would have had a much higher earning job, maybe with my own buisness attached. Wanted to be a Podiatrist, but couldn't face 2 years of A levels and 3 more years at Uni...
Did an HND while working at the bank, (never used it to this day)but hindsight being such a wonderful thing, I did get it wrong and should have studied when young and got the qualifications I really wanted, instead of being a lazy mare! However, my daughter can't decide what she actually wants to do, so at the moment is looking at higher earning jobs so she can have an easier life with horses than all the scrimping and saving I have to do to have them.
Whatever you do though, do it for yourself adn for the right reason. I made the wrong decision about studying, but that was(still is to an extent) my nature, as I never like tomake more effort than I absolutely have to!(wasted energy otherwise!)
