Another accountant! I have been doing contract work for the last 4 years, better paid but you don't get paid leave which is hard. Thinking of looking for a more permanent role again when this contract finishes in March so that we can go eventing mid week as well next season

Press & Publications Officer in the civil service. It pays ok and it's close to home which means I can spend more time with my boy rather than sitting in the car on a motorway!

I work for an internet based data marketing company. Not the most interesting job in the world but it's very flexible and I work from home so no complaints really.

I'm a qualified teacher - poor work/life balance led to me leaving teaching, doing a bit of supply, and falling into working with young people in care and have a sceond job working with disabled children and their families through the local council. I have always worked with children and young people, and all my study is in that area, so I imagine I will always work with that sector of society. After the baby, it's likely to be childminding, at least for a few years... but who knows.

At the moment, I am signed off work so trying to get some good relaxing time in, and doing plenty of nesting.

Ooh beatrice, who do you do that for? Considered getting into that at one stage - was offered a chance but turned it down due to who it was with at the time!

I underwrite horse insurance (yeah you all love me! Lol). Been doing it far to long though and the money's pants! Plus, the more accident/injury claims I read the more paranoid I get about my horses! ha ha
