Bring out the violins here. I need sympathy - there's something seriously wrong with my life at present...

Job no. 1 - Office Manager for Kitchenware manufacturer (9 - 6pm 5 days per week (But have worked until 7.30pm or later for the last week which has really b**ggered up Job no. 2 and meant a lot of last minute re-arranging, loss of extra earnings plus I don't get paid any over time).

Not on half term, and job's been so busy that I've had to cancel any leave I had booked. I've had 1.5 days holiday so far this year - and even after breaking my leg back in the summer I was called into the office just 1 week after undergoing surgery to fix my leg. (Was signed off sick for 7 weeks, actually got 5 working days off).

Job no. 2 - Human Bowen Therapist - Approx 2 evenings per week.

Job no. 3 - Equine Bowen Therapist - Approx. 1 weekend day per week

Job no. 4. Freelance secretarial and typing services -- approx 1 - 2 evenings per week.

Job no. 5 - What a housewife should be doing - time spent on this - Zero, because there's no time left.

I do try my hardest to keep Sundays for myself and the horses.

Anyone guessed that I'm not very happy at the moment?

Would LOVE to do Equine Bowen full time but it's just not well known enough as a therapy yet, and I haven't got any financial backing to allow me to leave the day job and go for it.

I'm an event photographer and run a nationwide event photography franchise called Big Image Photography. I photograph events of all shapes and sizes at the weekend, from horse shows, to black tie dos, to sports tournaments, to dance events...
And then I work in the office doing the admin side of things and finding events in the weekdays.

if you are considering doing veterinary do lots of work experience....it's what will get you through collage...

ps... you dont need hugh brains to vet, just a lot of comitment and ability to study efficently..
most of the things we learn are not hard concepts. There is just a lot to learn at one time( your talking 25 plus hours a week.. not including studying time ,oh and the joy of 8 a clock lectures)

My job was advertised as "Estate Administrator", really a farm secretary. I think I got the job as I said in my application letter that as a farmer's wife I was used to standing in gateways. I have to say that when I was asked to block an exit and four young bulls came running towards me I stepped aside..
