Wheelbarrows

For years I coveted the 2 wheeled barrows for poo picking my field (it's on a hill).
Then my field neighbour went on holiday, and I looked after her two horses - and she had one! :D

The excitement/envy was short lived however, as the bleeding thing took off down the hill with me and flung me into a bed of nettles at the bottom. :p

I'm so sorry but that made me laugh out loud ?. Dad and I have one but he's not 4x4 enough for our ground so he's been relegated to transporting fresh straw & hay nets

I love my Wilkos £40 barrow. I've replaced the wheel once and put new handles on it and I've had it for years. Plastic so it's lightweight, large volume, winner.

One of the worst wheelbarrows I could “recommend” would be a foldable one. My parents very kindly gifted one to me, years ago, to help me carry stuff out to the field when mine were out 24/7 on an enormous yard and I had about a ten minute walk to the field. I very nearly threw it onto the neighbouring golf course after a couple of minutes, it folded up on every bump. ?
I’ll swerve those then lol

I love my haemmerlin wheelbarrow, especially when paired up with one of their puncture proof rubber tyres.
Just sold a wheelbarrow on marketplace, it had a solid wheel on which meant it bounced everywhere and was horrid. That was my 'ferrying around soaked hay' barrow that one ?

I have three, used to have 4 but I sold one. And they are all in the same place. I sold a big double wheeled barrow as it took up too much space, but I still have a smaller double wheeled one, a single wheeled one and a ball one which is great got the winter but too small for summer field poo picking. They all have their purposes!

I love Wally the Wheelbarrow. He's a Haemmerlin and has lasted years (having replaced the tyre with a puncture proof one). I remember I paid £46 for him as I had credit vouchers for Countrywide having returned a jumper my OH bought me as it was too small and they didn't have a bigger size.

My mum's garden wheelbarrow died earlier this year so I decided to buy her a Haemmerlin. The same barrow is now over £100. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Mum got a B&Q special instead. She's good but she's not worth a £100 barrow. :D.

Lol, poor mum ?
