When are you clipping and what clip?

I normally do my TB mid-November and did him a 3mm clip yesterday (no other reason than my new clippers didn't come with any other option!) - body and neck off. Have to leave the head untouched or I'd be dead. Previously he's had a 1.6mm clip but gunna see how he gets on and maybe re-do him depending on how hot he gets.
 
My mare is till out 24/7, un-rugged, fat, hairy and naked!! She will be coming in at night in about 4 weeks time and her workload will increase to 4 days a week instead of 1 or 2 so she will get a blanket clip to start her off :)
 
I usually clip millie out in August, head, legs, the works as she fluffs up really early :o so it's strange to see her looking all furry... she's in such light work she only needs a little trace at the moment.

Kira's had a blanket and when her coat comes through fully it'll all come off except her legs :)
