Was just wondering if you only like specific colours or you don't mind. I'm hopefully going to buy another horse this year and i have to say i love grey's but they are such hard work! We have clay soil and my girl always looks orange! Should i stick with what i like or am i being too fussy??! I do like other colours but grey's always stand out to me!

I didnt want a common bay but ended up with one anyway.

Excuse me missy but bay is not common, it is the most regal and wonderful colour for a horse!!!!!! Of course my bay would have to have a bit of CB on the inside

would be annoying to have another white grey, have had 2 in a row and they are such hard work! but if he/she is what we want, then colour doesnt bother me!

When they went to look at spot, my sister is obsessed by appaloosas, she walked into the stable walked out said its got spots check its got 4 legs.

No way would that horse have got bought if it hadn't been spotty

Sorrels/chestnuts are my favourites these days. All of my sorrels are the best behaved of the lot.

Well I just love my ‘Coloureds’ as you know!

Having had a bay I have to say my heart always comes back to the coloureds, it’s just what I like!

GinaGem knows all this anyway!

Love chestnuts....but if it does the job, it really doesn't matter if it's pink with orange spots.....well, maybe it does, but you know what i mean lol!

I'm not bothered at all what colour the ppny/horse is, come to think about it i've never had 2 horses of the same colour. My favourites are black, bay, grey, roan, dun, palomino and coloureds.............so any really, lol

, but its just a bonus if they are one of these.

Oh and i love it when a horse has 4 white socks/stockings and a blaze, i love that, lol

love chestnuts! I have had a grey and a bay and loved them all equally but I have to say that for me there is nothing more beautiful than a shiney, gleaming chestnut! I am always instinctively drawn to chestnuts but I would buy the right horse whatever colour.

Yeah i've had black, bay, grey and coloured but i've never actually bought one - they've either been on loan or been passed on to me.

What's wrong with a bay?? !!

Personally I don't mind what colour it is, but I prefer 'solid' colours.

although I wouldnt buy or not buy a horse because of its colour I didnt want another bay, and the next horse I bought (tb) was bay... however I then ended up with a blue and white, a golden dun and a pink TB so they make up for the boring bay...

I personally like to have something that stands out a bit, although colour hasn't come into it when i've bought either of mine (a bay and a coloured). What I like is quite influenced by previous horses I think, I love palominos and had a wonderful one when I was younger

I do love an iron grey. Have had most colours and not had a duff horse yet. Haven't owned a chestnut or a skewbald ...yet.
