When buying a horse do you have a colour choice?!!!

My current grey developed melanoma's about 6 months after we bought her but that was about 11 years ago now and they haven't caused a problem. It's a bit of a worry but i wouldn't not buy a grey because of the risk that they may get them. It would put me off if they already had them though i think.

i never wanted a black one due to nasty experiences with 2 on our yard 1 would lunge at you when you walked past its stable and the other was a fruit bat! but look what i ended up with! ok shes only nearly black! but her names ebony!
