I’m off this week too! But I’ve just checked the forecast and I think I might cry. It was supposed to be dry all week but it’s telling me rain from Thursday - Sunday now?!

I'm thoroughly fed up of this weather! This week was supposed to be nice but after a couple of dry (but cold) days it is raining again! I can't remember ever having so much rain - we're in East Anglia, it is normally very dry! I'm probably noticing it more as I moved my horse in Feb from a yard on sandy soil to one on clay based soil. I'm also trying to work him consistently but he is a youngster and I want to try and have as many factors in my favour as possible when working him and it just keeps raining/howling a gale! We're forecast rain for the next 4 days too!

We have had a couple of ok days but very chilly in the wind. The horses rugs are back on!! Heavy rain in the morning then spitting about all weekend.

The weather is totally taunting us! 1 day of nice weather followed by 5 days or more of rain, wind, cold I know its April and can be wet but I can't remember a March and April so utterly depressing!

Can’t believe how cold it’s turned on the Suffolk/Essex border.. it was lovely and sunny this morning and had a long walk with a friend and her dogs, had planned to do some gardening in the afternoon and I wimped out as it was cold and windy and went to sainsburys instead

So the wind has been howling from the East for days although the sun was nice yesterday. Now raining and no warmer. Just looked at the forecast for here (Midlands) and the temperature is set to stay in single figures for the rest of the month. No wonder the swallows have not shown their beaks here yet!!

It was sunny yesterday but god the wind was so strong I didn't even ride I would of got blown away, then about 6pm it absolutely chucked it down it was like a hurricane and today is meant to rain all day.

It's going down in temperature over the weekend and is 10 degrees by Monday daytime and 1 degree at night.

Rubbish spring just longing for some warm days now.

Heavy rain here this morning. Forecast said light after from about 10 so I turned my boys out. One absolutely hates heavy rain so he is well rugged. It's stopped now but very grey. Fairly mild though.
