When oh when will it stop raining :-(

I've had enough of it too - horses all back in again as the fields are all flooded and with it being colder again today it feels like winter again more than ever! :(

It's stopped here now and no more forecast for the next couple of days. Fingers crossed! Left mine in tonight as they are making a right mess of the field!

Muddy and wet yet again and completely fed up, Thats the quote from the horse, mine in unrepeatable!!!

I'm intrigued to know where in Germany it is so hot! I'm sat in my uni room here at the moment with the heating on full blast as I was feeling really cold - it's been mild out, but not t-shirt weather (and we've had some cracking storms!)

Are you lot all fair weather riders?!!! There are surely more important things to moan about than a bit of rain? Really!!

A gentle breeze and April showers I can cope with but it's the bitterly cold, blowing a hoolie north wind with relentless horizontal rain my horses and I dont like, so yes, I guess I am a fair weather rider!!

Hessy, do you have horses? or are you ontop of a hill with your own sun spot and an indoor school!

I am happy for lots of rain.
After the 3 driest winters in a row, we NEED it! Norfolk is so, so dry. Also the nice rain softens the ground for nice canters, and means the swallows can build their nests.

This is the wrong kind of rain for topping up the water table sadly. It's too much too quick and sits as surface water and then evaporates. Three wet weeks will not make up for 9 months of dry weather :(

And I don't mind riding in the rain. What I do mind is the mud. And so do my horses. You must own a hippo rather than a horse if it isn't bothered by all the wind and rain and MUD I reckon! :D

Don't want to sound smug but it has not rained for three days , however my first summer paddock is wreaked I had to move two because the builders are here putting in a soak away for the house( old one silted up) so we had to move out of winter paddock number two .the worrying thing despite days of constant rain only the very top of the soil is damp go down three inches and it's rock hard and dry underneath I was having a look in the big hole the builders dug and the rain has not penetrated very much at all.

I'm more annoyed about the ammount of competitions being cancelled :( and I cant get much fast work done because the grounds not up to it so thats most of my weight control method ruined. Looks like its going to be a summer of dressage and SJ on a surface.

With two off games I'm glad everything is cancelled. Makes me feel better that I can't canter or jump or do anything fun!! Every cloud has a silver lining and all that :)

We have so much MUD!!! rain, wind, storm, cold... we're even forecasted to have SNOW this weekend!
poor horses are chucked out for a few hours a day as they go insane if left in 24/7! the baby donkeys are covered in mud, and due to lack of dry stable space, all three are sharing a stable bless :)
can't ride, mum officially classed it as 'dangerous' to ride in the wind we had last week, and she is not a fluffy-bunny fair-weather rider!
and for all u evil people who have sun at the moment... i am praying to god that you are soaked with as much damn rain as mother nature can throw at you ;D

Well I bought some very unflattering army surplus over trousers which I am wearing to the yard and even that's not stopped the rain. The mud is ridiculous. This time last year my horse was on 24 hour turn out.
