where are you in the country and has the storm hit yet?

Central Scotland - usual rain and wind here - its been a tad on the blustery side this afternoon and it rained cats and dogs earlier but its Scotland.....we expect it lol :D

I'm in NI - Antrim coast. Very heavy rain and high wind about 7am on Friday, but rest of day was rather nice. Very blowy from about lunchtime yesterday, though nothing especially bad. Bit windy right now but nothing unusual.

Very windy in kent but thats it, i would say it was the worst wind either as i have previously driven along the A20 and clung to my steering wheel for dear life - not tonight.
im staying up as i left my pony out and of course, with all the hype, im worried but i will see how it goes. im sure if my YO was worried when she does her late night check than she will call.

Basingstoke, Hants, nothing here yet! was getting windy earlier but seems to have died down!

It's on its way, don't worry about missing out ;)

I'm also Hants but further down. It's torrential now - the rain on our French doors is deafening! Can't make out whether it's windy though; I don't think it's too strong.

West Sussex - a bit gusty and a few sharp showers but nothing spectacular so far - I'm actually wondering if it's all a big fuss about nothing....There has been panic buying going on now though and trains are cancelled for tomorrow morning

Near Falmouth, raining heavily, wind is starting to pick up.

Another from Cornwall, as above but wind isn't as heavy as it was last night yet. However, I did see that the wind is a max of 43 mph tomorrow.... I heard someone say it's the storm of the century, they then made the point that we are only 13 years into the century.... I'm not expecting anything major... 43mph is not huge in terms of storms.

Just fine rain in Middlesex and no wind yet! I'm really, really hoping that it isn't too bad, I've got to go out at 6:30 am tomorrow to turn the horses out because their turnout is from 7 am :( Honestly, I think the newspapers just want a story! Fingers crossed anyway :)
