Am still about just been very busy with moving and new plans.
Still only in a temporary home at present and not alot of access to the internet but have been lurking briefly.
Thanks for asking nice to know i am missed.
I owe you a reply too, I was only thnking about you the other day..
We sold our last farm and lived in our engineering factory's Work's canteen with three dogs, the cat and three children for six months with our 17 horses spread about on three different farms on DIY..
Boy was I glad to move here with a proper kitchen, a bath that wasn't a tin one you emptied by hand etc, and terrible grazing and stables made of pallets..
HH it is lovely here where we are we are staying near the coast in South Wales overlooking minehead but still good access form thr M4.
Beautiful farmhouse and already run as a succesful stud.
Weather has been fab and all the horses are still out at the moment.
Horsenut the horses have settled in really well and all look fantastic.
The grass here in the vale of glamorgan suits horses very well.
We will find out our fate for the next stage of moving in a fortnight though so keeping everything crossed at the moment.
Our original destination is still avaliable to us if we can get our little hitches sorted out.
Otherwise we may still be here for the next covering season .
Thanks Volatis i know that you know what it is like to be in this situation.
Will try and get on and post this weekend as will have more time .
It sounds a better deal than our move then! My husband's secretary used to lock her personal soap in the bathroom cupboard so my dirty children wouldn't use it. (she needn't have worried, soap isn't something small boys play with)
I lived in Mid Wales for three and a half years and loved it, I was besotted with a farming huntsman and helped with the hounds as well as qualifying pointers.
Luckily he tired of me and I tired of riding terrifying horses and I went home!
keep me posted where you end up!
