I have to sell my little horsebox :(:(:( Just wondered where did everyone look for theirs? Or where would you look if you wanted to buy one?

I was thinking of ebay but would a horsey site be a better bet?

Websites such as gumtree, preloved etc
Local feed or tack shop
Livery yards/ riding schools

Pop in google a search for a 'horse trailer for sale' or ' (the make of your trailer) for sale' and see which websites come up on the first page. It would be ideal for you to have you trailer advertised upon one of these sites as this is what people mostly go for- is the first sites that appear

Hope that was of some help :)

I have got 3.5t box for sale 03 reg, pristine and have tried horse deals, horse mart and farmers guardian without success. The trouble with the first two is that they get overloaded with businesses that pushed mine further and further back in the queue.

I think mine is perhaps one of the more pricey ones and most people are looking for something under £10,000 so that hasn't helped. Plus, it's not the best time of year to sell.

So........ I could do with some ideas myself :D

Oh no! That doesn't sound promising, I think I will try ebay first and If I have any luck will let you know! My friend suggested putting it onto a dealers forecourt as thats how she sold hers but the horsey websites are so expensive that I wasn't keen to fork out if others had no success there.

If you think horsey websites are dear have you checked out Ebay fees if you sell they can be very expensive. For example if selling a horsebox with a £10k reserve it will cost about £200 ,even £150 if you dont sell it.

Im trying to sell my 7.5 ford cargo. Been on horse deals for a month, over 7000 views but not one call. Now on ebay (for the second time!) It isnt a good time of year. I'd swop mine for a 3.5 tho!
