Which boots?

Tomorrow I'll be having my first go at cross country training. I don't often boot my horse as she's not really one to interfere with herself and we don't jump big. She used to be booted more often and does have brushing, tendon and overreach boots. I know the risks are different xc, I've looked at boots and know which ones is probably get her but didn't want to fork out at this point in case we never go again! So my question is for tomorrow would she be better in brushing or tendon boots or no boots at all?

Brushing boots & over reaches aswell at the least. Are you studding? If I was studding I would borrow XC boots for more protection!

Whereas I would go tendon boots in front and brushing boots behind. All mine run in prolite tendon boots in front. The are lighter and still do a perfectly good job. If the horse is hitting wood that hard in front on the cannon bone, I would not be riding it xc!

I had thought brushing boots originally for more all-round protection but then thought more impact protection for tendons might be better. Going round in circles so trying to see if there's a consensus view on which is best! o_O

Honestly at 60 with a horse that doesn't usually knock I wouldn't be worrying about it too much.

I would go brushing & OR's, I don't like jumping solids in open fronts.
