Mine is on Cotswold raw which is a bit of a pain, and I had to buy a second freezer just for dog food, but my little fusspot doesn’t tolerate any of the billion or so kibbles I tried. She was ok but not great on Forthglade wet food but is doing well on raw.

Mine's on Harringtons Just 6 (salmon), following some digestive issues earlier this year (hundreds of pounds of blood tests, all came back fine!).
Decided to try it as it's just salmon, no poultry etc, and it's seemed to settle his stomach. It's got a fairly low % of peas as the ingredient, which is one of the other things I was looking out for. Too much pea protein = too much gas, for my boy!
Anyway he loves it, hoovers it up, and the stomach issues haven't recurred (except when he's eaten something he shouldn't have... like my son's fruit, yoghurt and granola the other day. I convinced myself there was bone in his vomit, brought it home in a poo bag and made my family inspect it. Turns out it was bits of dried coconut and nut.)

Bit late to the party on this one but interesting to read that those feeding Millie's wolfheart feed less of it for the same outcome.

Purdey is on Skinners junior currently (she only likes the duck one, obviously, as its £15 more expensive than the lamb...) but the volume per meal seems huge and we struggle to get her to finish it most days. She's a healthy weight but certainly on the slim side of healthy so having a bit more wouldn't harm. Skinners advised keeping her on junior until 18 months if we could (she's 13 months now) but we had planned to switch to an adult one at the end of this bag as the volume we would need per meal is much less for very similar nutritional values.

I looked into Millie's wolfheart when we first got her but I'll admit the huge number of different mixes they had baffled me a bit and for various reasons we just went with Skinners. Would be interested to hear which MW mixes people feed as might have another look into it

I feed the gundog or gamekeeper in the main. I occasionally change as a breeder once told me it’s good to change protein sources sometimes. I don’t know there’s any scientific evidence of that.
I think in winter I got mwh endurance in the past? But mainly feed Essentials now as if you buy it by the pallet it’s cheaper 🤣.
But with Millie’s (and Essentials) I feed almost half what I would with skinners. Half the poo produced as well, win win.

Ivy (greyhound) I think we started on Duck and Veg because it was around 20% protein which I had read was recommended for non racing hounds (actually starting to question that and where it comes from now). Then we moved her over to Forerunner as she was doing better than she had been on the Pedigree she came with from the rescue but hit a bit of a plateau with gaining condition. Even though it had a lower meat source percentage she seemed to do better on it. Then again recently (so 12-18 months after the first switch) we have moved her on to Endurance mix as again felt she lost a little condition.

Worth getting in touch with them to help narrow it down. Some of it might come down to whether your dog does better with fish/turkey/lamb/pork etc. Budget as well and of course breed and activity level.

ETA poos have definitely improved since the move to Endurance!
