Which dog to use?

Bravo!

...and I don't think for one moment that your puppies are any more likely than any others to end up in rescues. But I do think in general that crossbreeds are more likely to end up as charity cases.

Pedigrees are 'looked after' by breed rescues that are often funded by breeders themselves as a responsible part of breeding with integrity born out of a love of a breed.

There may be a labradoodle rescue funded by labradoodle lovers.....who knows?

Oh but I will. All of my puppies are going to friends and I will see all of these puppies on a daily/weekly basis.

As you say no breeder will know if their pups will end up in rescue. I used to sell all my puppies with a contract, one of the terms of which was I be contacted if the new owner was unable to keep them, so that I could either have them back or help re-home them. To my knowledge 2 have actually ended up in breed rescue . I found out because all my pups are tattooed and the breed rescue check for tattoos and contacted me. In one case I took her back and rehomed her, in the other I was unable to take her but helped rescue find her a home. So much for the owners contacting me!

Tia had stated in earlier posts that her bitch would be spayed. Tbh I think the only person suggesting she is breeding for money is Tia herself - and clearly this is not the case at all.

Re: how often you breed from a bitch etc,

The KC wont register a litter from a bitch has whelped before her 1st birthday or if she has reached 8yrs of age at the date of whelping. Most breeders however will wait until their bitch is 2yrs old for a first litter and usually wont have any more after a bitch is 6 or 7. The KC will only register 6 litters per bitch, I don't know many people who have more than 3 litters out of a bitch.

I'm not 100% sure on this BUT I **think** that you have to leave 12months in between each litter. Most bitches only have 1 season a year or there abouts any way, we've only ever had one bitch who had a season every 6months.

I must be honset, I don't see a problem with OP selling her puppies for money. I am going to assume that she is not a puppy farm and constantly churning out low-grade 'pedigree' pups for money.

FFS, I am sure that she loves her dogs and I imagine she could have put it a little better but many people do this! The woman I bought my cat from breeds her cats (Norwegian Forest Cats) for money as a sideline and I didn't have a problem with it. She took alot of care for her cats and was really kind when the kitten I chose had an allergic reaction to her 1st vaccine. She was very far removed from heartless. She sells her kittens for £350!! I chose to stick with the original kitten & she gave her to me for the cost of the vets fees which was about £50!

Also, the first Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle cross was for Guide Dogs. Theaim was to combine the Poodles' low-shed coat with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, in order to provide a guide dog for the blind with less shedding, and hence more suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander.

So what is wrong with that? A hypo-allergenic dog!

I agree with horsegirl. Giving birth in the spring then mating her again is too soon. How would you like to give birth to a child then immediately get pregnant again. (and I know this does happen to some women!).

The breeder of my dog, only breeds from a bitch every 2 years and only has about 3 litters from each one.

The breeder of my bitch only breeds when they want to another pup to carry on their breed line.

If you must breed, please make it to a lab. Never been able to understand how a crossbreed/mongrel, can cost more than a pedigree.
