I have been asked to help sell this pony and wondered how much we should be asking for her.

she is a 5yo New Forest mare (registered) and is around 14hh (no measuring stick so can't be certain). She is good to do in all ways and I am taking her cubbing tomorrow and she will be going to a couple of parties soon but hasn't been anywhere yet to my knowledge.

And which of these photos do you think are best. Sorry lots

I personally like the last one and the first jumping picture.
She doens't look too happy in the water pictures, the other jumping one is blurred and I don't really think much to the flat work pictures, but the second one is the best out of the two.
I would also not have the date on the pictures (persuming your camera reset and put this date on it) and have a good conformation shot of her and possibly a nice headshot if you have room.

I like the first, third and last ones.

A friend has just sold a 4 year old NF gelding, 14hh and only recently backed and schooled so still quite green but as kind and easy as you can get, for the full asking price of £2000. She only put him up for sale last Wednesday, the people phoned straight away, came on Thursday to see him and picked him up on Saturday. . . . so who says ponies aren't selling! Given that your NF is older and has done more, I'd say £3k-ish . . . . .

I like the 3rd photo. Need a side-on confirmation shot and either a headshot or ridden (in trot tends to come up best - you want it as /\/\) which shows her working well.

I'd say about £2800

I would value her at around £1800 but that seems a lot lower than others are suggesting.
She wouldnt show as a NF and she's still young and green for a child which does de-value her slightly

I like the 3rd photo as she is making a really nice shape over the fence whih anyone who is wanting to jump will look for and maybe the water photo to show she could do pony club xc. I wouldn't put any of the schooling pics as compared to other show type ponies she might look a bit 'stuffy' in the sense she hasn't got extravagent paces (and therefore probably won't deck you for no reason

)
Don't know much about pony prices but if she's good to do and turns her hand to anything I don't see why she wouldn't fetch upward of £2k

i prefer the second flatwork and the log jumping piccy - she is tucking up much nicer in that one - haven't a clue with prices in today's market....

Interesting! Why wouldn't she "show as an NF"? She's registered apparently. I would have agreed with you re the price if my friend hadn't sold her very green gelding so easily last week for more (and they didn't even offer less) . . . . .

all sounds good, thanks for the advice I know the photos aren't great but I'm sure you all know how hard it is to get the OH to take decent ones

BTW she went cubbing today and was a absolute dream, a lot of the field were asking if they could swap!
