Which scans did you do?

Just back from 14 day scan (yay, blob!)

Vets have offered 18 day one on Friday. and then obv heartbeat at 28 days. and then offered a 35 day scan as well.

I was expecting today's and then heartbeat as that's what i did with Salty.

They've said they are confident there's only one blob but she has a lurking follicle so we are going on regumate to be on the safe side.
Obviously if it's the done thing then we can go but it will make me a bit unpopular at work as its a day of meetings. We're on a package so it's only time and diesel other than the work issue!

What do the more experienced folk do?

Did she double ovulate? If so, I would have another one in 2-3 days to check for twins. If not, I would just have a heartbeat scan and be done with it, unless you need a scan for October 1st stud fee terms

yes she did. vet said she was confident there was just the one but it would be annoying to find 2 in a fortnight wouldn't it?
Might have to beg for some annual leave then.

I would definitely do a 16 or 17 day scan then (in preference to 18days) If it was asynchronous ovulation then the vet cannot be totally confident at 14 days IMO

Yey!!

Mine was on a package so had 13, 17 and 27 all included. That will be her done until 1st October check.

I have no useful advice to offer, just wanted to say congratulations on the blob! Good luck with the scans (and the rest of her pregnancy obviously)

As she double ovulated Id do as TM suggests.

We usually scan at 15 /28 and 60 .

Congrats on the blob! We scan at 18 days (blob or no blob), 35 days (heartbeat scan) and finally around 70 days for the insurance.
