Which Stable would be best?

my horse occasionally bangs his head on his stable door frame. He’s 16.3hh. As I have it padded with insulating foam it’s no problem and he’s not bothered. Unpadded with previous horses they didn’t work out it was sticking head up that caused the issue and became actively anxious around the door. I’d try stable 1 with insulating foam stuck on the four joists so no injury can occur.

I used to travel a long necked 17hh horse in my lorry who sometimes stood with his head up and ear tips bent by the roof. But he never seemed to bang his head. Weirdly (I bought a poll guard to travel) my new 16.3hh horse home in lorry for the first time, and his ears are NOT near roof. . .

We used to keep a 15.3hh mare in a double height stable with a stone lintel over the normal height door. She once banged her head and injured herself when some noisy children ran down the yard and made her jump as she had her head over the door.
 
Stable 2 for me, I've known a couple of horses get claustrophobic after hitting their heads on low doorways and start refusing to walk into a stable. They didn't learn from it and would run in with their head up, hitting it every time and only making the problem worse. I don't consider 12x10 to be particularly small for a stable anyway, especially if only 16hh.
 
I have the patio setup, we now have an extra large gate that can either divide yard in half or be closed back against the wall out of the way. I really like it. Used the electric fence in a bucket of clay method before I got the gate.
 
I have my 16.1 TB in a 10x12 and thought it was lovely. She managed to get a good stomp around when she worked herself up. Don’t know if I should feel bad that it’s too small now ? the whole one side is open for her to stick her long neck right out of though so maybe feels bigger. She seems happy. has a very high roof too.
