I'm looking for opinions on each of these yards. Which would you use? Do you think in terms of what you would be paying is too much or is it worth it?
Yard A - £178pcm which is for stable, field and morning turnout 7 days per week, bringing in is only Mon-Friday . No reduction if you turnout or bring in yourself. Horse have now to be in at 2pm every day. Hay £4.50 per small bale , Shavings £7per bale over and above. Substantial storage area and tack room. Trailer parking. Hacking is around fields or onto back roads via an A road. Outdoor school with a few jumps and poles, prone to surface water after rain. £1 per use if you need lights on. Approximately 15minutes from house on main road.
Yard B - £120pcm which is for stable and field. Turnout and bring in up to yourself or available at £1.50 each. Haylage grown on site at £6.50 per small bale. Hay depends on weather. Shavings £7 per baleover and above. Storage area and tack room. Trailer parking. Hacking through lots of fields and very quiet back roads. Outdoor school with various show jumps and poles. No excess charges, except for use of hot water wash area. Approximately 10minutes from house with an extra 5minutes down farm track .
Not much in it between them but I would be interested in your input. Thank you
