I had a funny feeling about riding his morning and it seems I should have stayed in bed. Ambling through the village and a motorbike came towards us. Old fashioned motorbike with high pitched motor noise. Friends horse spooked a bit and set mine off. He whirled onto a drive and lost his footing and over we went! So I'm finding myself lying on my side trying to do a body scan to see if anything has broken. Bad! I've landed on my right side which has a pinned collarbone with the horse on top of my leg. Nope nothing broke but ouch. Motorbike pissed off but car behind stopped while friend caught horse, and helped me to my feet and then drove me to the yard whilst neighbour helped to lead horse back. He's got a nasty graze on his shoulder from a pebble and was very unsettled poor boy. I've gotten away with a badly grazed leg and elbow and bruised hand. Plus a sore shoulder and right sacroiliac not to happy either. Must learn to fall on my left side !
A big thank you to two sweet ladies who helped me and the lady who led R back to yard too. As for the motorbiker .. Well what can I say! Would slowing down have been that much trouble for you, you *********! Such a shame as he was doing so well in traffic too. Now tucked up in my dressing gown and I think riding might be off the cards for a few days.
