Who agrees posts should get a 'Like' button?!

I am sure many people on here go on Facebook, so you will know what I am talking about

Sometimes I read a Thread & following posts and if I completely agree with something but don't feel the need to comment it would be nice just to 'Like'

I don't like the idea, I think post will end up getting no replies, just 'likes', which is kind of pointless for a forum!

I like the idea, but agree a bit with 3Beasties - I think people will find it easier to click on "like" than comment.

Some times think 'like' is the wrong word especially if someone has posted an upsetting thread.

If you put anything that indicates a negative reaction there are always some people who will use it as a weapon. Going back to "smite" a poster repeatedly. As most "like" buttons can't be separated from some sort of "dislike" buttons that tends to be why a lot of forum owners avoid using them.
