who can spot balence, and more to the point, who notices it??

Hurrah - hope you had megabucks on her! We had a serious celebration in the pub after (only just recovered)

This really pisses me off. That was not a pro photo - it was given to me Alex Colquhoun (sp?), after he took it at Blenheim. He doesn't sell photos, he's just a bloody good photographer who takes (took?) them to help the selectors with their job. I will let Admin know, but they'll be away for the weekend

I didn't think i had to do everyone sorry...
right...

first pic is perfect, no more need to comment
second pic, although you look to have been a bit left behind (as you said she put in a big one) you've given with your hands, and therefore still look in balance with her!!.. little tip, if you get her on her hocks and with more power (not speed) to the canter, she shouldn't just launch at fences like that...

right will try to find some links, I know what I thin the main faults are, will be interesting to see if you all agree.

Love this, all happy smiley even though it is toward the end of her first Novice, lowere leg a bit weak but other than that OK.

to be honest the SJing pics look like you reawlly need to see the round before you can give a proper comment on them... although in the first one you say the rider is not waiting for the horse, ie infront of the movement.. but to me they look more left behind.. tuff one... anyone else care to comment???

MDM cant work out what you mean about the corner pic!! Apat from maybe the fact I could be giving with my hands a bt more but I am allowing my reins and he was soooo bloody strong I darent give too much with him!!

Yeah she was being quite lazy that day, really backing off the contact coming into the fences and I was struggling to get her to put more energy into her canter.
thanks though
