Hi , On Derby Road , after the round about , before you get to the traffic lights , on the left hand sight , you can just see a tiny block of stables. Must be no more than 4 I think. They must be old , they arnt used and a bit over grown I think. Behind them are some fields. I was wondering if anyone could tell me who owns them , or if they know anything about them. I think that at one time they used to be up for sale or rent not sure. Anyway if anyone could tell me if I would be able to rent or buy them , then that would be great. Please tell me as soon as possible

Thanks , Beth x

is this derby road in woking or the derby road in norwich? and do you mean the Tesco r/bout or the one with the Homebase superstore next to it?

get the full address and postcode of the property then try google and as already suggested the land registry.

knocking on the door of the nearest neighbors or if you're really determined, posting flyers through their doors asking for help may also pay dividends.
i think thats what id try.

Hi, if the land is registered you can get the owners details from the Land Registry.

http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/

It will cost you £8 to get a copy of the title and a plan. If the land has been sold since 1991 (I think) then it will be registered, if not then it may be registered but possibly not.

Your local council will probably only know who owns the land if they own it themselves.

Good luck.

It doesnt take a genius to see from the OP's profile where Deby Road is likely to be, I found it in less than 30 seconds on a Google map but admittedly there are a few roundabouts on it!

OP - Its unlikely that the owner will be on here or they'd be actually using the stables, chances are the current owner isnt horsy but of course there is a possibility someone may know the land

When I found the land I wanted to rent I knocked on doors to find out who owned it, you could try that or maybe a leaflet drop

All the best with your search for the owner x
