Who's horse has the best name???!!

Years ago I used to ride 2 horses called Dusty and Tramp.
I've had a Harold on loan.
My current horses are a chestnut gelding called Chester, aka ginger ninja or bum, and a mare called Lady, aka Lady Lous or Missy Moos.

we have Harley - Harley moose, Cwmenfys Jinx - CJ, Curio, our foal is Al'Dente as he wasnt quite cooked when he came out!! nickname is Albi

and the dogs (didnt want to leave them out!) Dexter (lab) nickname! Dextador
and our puppy Hugo - Hugogogo! and terriers Toby le tron - dont know why! and Boycie who get called wezwell!!

Some great names but I have to say my little girly has the best, she's a red & white Shetland (approx 9hh) and she's called...Strawberry!!!!! Sooooooo cute & really suits her! :D

We also have 2 Baileys, a Frank, a Stan and a Foxy Lady (or Lou Lou as she's more commonly known!) :D

I have a TB called Fridge. His name is actually Fatal Ridge which is slightly disturbing, and he became Fridge. And Anair, who sounds like a dodgy charter airline, became Flo. No idea why.

My horses are called...

Troy
Charlie
Mia
Genco
Haffeyt
Katie
Merlin
Smokie

All pretty ordinary horsey names though i do have another mare called Candy and her foal (who is now 3) is called Floss, so when i want them both in all i need to shout is CANDYFLOSS....:D :o lol

i have a pip - very origional for a horse with long stockings . . . named by myself so i take all credit there ;)

we also have a maii who used to be betty may, was pasported megan, but called mary - because shes a mare . . .

i once rode a cob on holiday who was a real stereotype of the breed - fat lazy and stubborn - called harley davidson

and my first riding school had horses called jess, little jess, black jack and brown jack, big bert and small bert :D very matchy matchy!!

i also knew a lady who had two horses a beautiful tb called ronan and a little shp called stewart nicknamed wart

and when i was a wp we had a horse call clive and two other girls on the yard had horses called kolin and kevin :L

Horses have very boring names but we have a litter of JRT pups and my son has named one Jeremy in honour of Mr Clarkson. He is a strange 4 year old but i kinda like Jeremy it suits him!!!

Mine def aren't the best, but very apt - Bob the cob who's about as laid back as they come, and Jester who I've only had since July - OH wanted to change it to Chester - but oh boy have I realised why he's called Jester - that's definitely a name that will stick!

Funny how names are so appropriate....I wonder at what age they got those names! Did once ride a little cob called Nobby (No Nuts) who was not a great thinker, Sully - who was sulky and the laziest horse I ever rode, Malibu the rotund Haffy, Lucy the Shetland, Annie who was a dangerous cowbag even on the ground, and Pedro the Argentinian polo pony - I always wondered if he ever understood a word I said!

Ohh dear... some of our lot :p

Napoleon (Bonaparte on the yard to match ;) ) , Missy (original or what??), 50, Zimbro....

Then there's Obelix, Maravilha, Segredo, Alinta Safira and many more :D

We generally can't do normal names!

Some of the previous ones... Caio, Arry, Snr.Gil and Orquidia :o

My old girl is called Sheba which is quite unusual I think?!

I have too many names for Freddie - though he is commonly referred to as Mr Pickles or Freddiemonsters. :D
