Ohh I'm Ireland too!
Still fully rugged and now turned out due to this disaster of a hay shortage!

Mine still have fluffy legs as well, they are normally all summer coated by now

Old lady (fully clipped) and 2year old are naked today as it is fairly warm but with enough breeze to keep the majority of the flies at bay.
They are both in sheets at night, but have been on reduced feed and I've been restricting grazing for the last couple of weeks.
We have managed to get the majority of the ewes and lambs out in the last week or so, which is a huge help as we are out of hay and haylage and having to buy in, which is costing a fortune!!

The dressage horses are still in 200gs at night, but unless it is very chilly I strip/reduce rugs during the day.

depending on how sunny versus how windy it is on any given day (and it does seem to change daily..) either full neck LW or full neck MW.

at night, magnetic sheet and full neck HW, plus leg wraps.

Mine also seems to change daily - I layer 2 or 3 100gm stable rugs at night but she's only had one on the past few weeks, and alternate between a medium full neck turnout on bad days, to a no fill turnout, to nothing like we have today but its lovely and sunny.

Mine are still rugged up - but going down to lightweights in the day if they're out. We did bring out the summer sheets for polo....but then had to put their stable rugs over the top as it was just too cold!

Our old boy still hasn't got his summer coat through and its Windsor next week...he's going to look rather hairy!

Mine were not rugged in the first place, are pretty well along with the de-hairing (all hair is now mostly attached to my clothing....), and I'm in Ireland too.

Mines are on and off constantly during the day , had them off today as beautiful but looks like they will be back on tomorrow , still have there rugs on at night and not enough grass yet so don't know when they will be turned out for summer , costing a small fortune on hay as Haylage was terrible last year so had to give up on that about 3 months ago !
Mine are usually out 24/7 by now and at the minute I have no idea when this will happen !

Mine hasn't been rugged for about two, getting on three months now. It's getting up to around 13 degrees here in the day, lows of only around 7 at night most days. No need for any rugs at that temperature.:)

Mine is out naked if sunny, if not in a lightweight.

He's got two thin polys on at night - I was down to 1 thin poly at night, but it has started to get cold at night again - was 1 degree last night and that's in the South East!

We have had rain today!! First in about three weeks. It is freezing cold.

My good doers are in summer sheets and a few are in lightweight winter rugs at night.

My foalie and mum don't have rugs but have access to a shelter with plenty of hay and straw. If it is wet, like today, baby gets shut in with mum.

My two are out naked most days but still in a 200g (tb) and 100g (ISH) at night, they were both fully clipped.

Need a full-on, full-weight rug on me. I am freezing. It's almost May. I live in North London, not North Pole. Have had to switch on heating which I cannot afford. Pants to this global cooling/warming madness.

its a disaster!! my boy still looks like he has a full clip still he was clipped in october!!! no sign of a summer coat!! its freezing!!

Well hard fully clipped natives in fly rugs or naked out 24/7, they sunbathe all day in the lea of the field and snug up together at night. I like my field as whatever the weather if they get down in the lea they stay warm so i never over-rug at all as they just swelter.

Rio has a rainsheet on and sometimes another underneath incase the waterproofing fails on the top one when we have a downpour. Hes the perfect weight right now but with the grass coming through fast and him out of work lame he could do with losing a couple more lbs :D I wish this weather would make up its mind though, one day is beautiful sunshine and blue skies, the next we're at risk of flooding!

My boy hasn't been rugged for about 2 months now. He's out during day and in at night.
He's malting like mad, too. Every time I pat him I'm swallowing white fluff!
I'm in the North West and it hasn't warranted rugging at all, even at night. Must be lucky :)

My girl lives out and during the day she wears either a lightweight or no fill turnout or shes naked. At night it depends, going down to -1 here tonight so she's got a thick fleece under her heavyweight turnout with a neck but last week she wore her lightweight over night a few times.

My mare is in her fly rug and fly mask full time now. She's got enough padding to keep warm and is out 24/7 now, she has grass and soaked hay to eat so plenty to keep her internal furnace going. It does help that she's a Fjord though, she's tough!
