Who's Rugging tonight??

No,only rug mine when it rains with lightweights this time of year. Cold doesn't bother mine its the rain and wind they hate.
 
Yes have been rugging my TB in an autumner rug for a few days.
I dont go on dates i go on weather and want him to go into winter with some weight on.
Not rugging my chunky cob though :p
 
Mate has been in a MW for about ten days now, but she was a skinny minnie so i have been babying her a, cob is still naked bit
 
He's been rugged in a lw for the last few weeks at night (he's out 24/7) cos of the rain but I'm tempted to leave it off tonight....but then again he's a mud magnet and the fields are a bit soggy and I really really really don't want to have to groom to ride so I might leave it on now and accept it's winter clothing already!!:(
 
my tb is in a mw tonight has been in lw for last 2weeks days and night but meant to go to about 7 degrees tonight. he had a night in last night as had a lesson and at half 6 i was freezing after lesson so took pity on him! He will go back in lw during day tho!
My old man is only in lw as he can get hairy and dirty for last few weeks of summer!!
 
not me, but then in all likelyhood mine wont see a rug all winter (she's semi retired, grows the thickest coat ever, and will be stabled at night November onwards) dont think anyone at our yard is rugging yet even my fiends two spanish horses,
 
Yes. I'd prefer not too as she doesn't need weight wise, but I want to stop the fluff coming through for as long as possible. Only the outer shell of her Rambo Duo.
 
Mine are in at night with summer sheets on. I might put a thicker one on the clipped lad tonight. I would go for a lightweight turnout if they lived out at night.
 
I have just put a lightweight on Dylan - not because he needs it but because I want to ride at 6.30 in the morning and don't want to spend 30 mins getting the mud off and there is no way he is coming in at night yet.
 
My WB mare came in for the winter 2 nights ago as it has definately turned and if I`m cold, then she msut be. :)
There has only been a handful of nights thro the summer when she has been in the nude as the nights are quite cool, esp for a mare. My gran always used to say, `keep ya back warm`. So I`ve been going up every evening, late, just to put a LW rug on then up at 9am to take it off after riding. I know, I`m a big softee. :D
 
Yep mines in a fleece as he was all fluffed up last night and was chilly - I dont want him growing too thick a coat (not that it makes much difference tbh - but it makes me feel better!) :)
 
My TB's got a light weight on tonight as supposed to be down to 8 or 9. Was down to 10 last night and she was cold this a.m, hair all puffed up:(

The fat cob however is naked as hoping he'll shiver off some pounds!
 
My tb is in his mw tonight as I prefer to rug him well than feed him buckets and buckets of cond. mix all winter! My idx though is naked and will be until it gets really cold/wet!
