I have never understood how anyone can make an appointment to view a horse then just disappear..
Yesterday the woman rang before her viewing to say her boyfriend's car had a smashed windscreen so could we reschedule for the same time today.
She hasn't appeared and is ignoring her phone.
Now normally it wouldn't matter, but we have washed the horse, had the farrier in to trim it's feet, kept it in overnight for two nights, and it is stil inside now just incase..
I was supposed to collect my horsebox from 40 miles away after repair (I haven't dared go out incase she arrived) then have an acupuncture session at 3pm..
Both of those have gone down the pan now until much later this evening.
So if any of you know SAM HOLDSWORTH supposedly from Glos, go and give her a sharp kick from me, I've got better things to do than hang around all day for time wasters.

I wouldn't mind, the two year old is one off project horses who I was offering really cheaply in the hope of a "special" home.
Doesn't sound like she is it does it?
Bl****y woman, why bother ringing at all, I wish she hadn't...

how annoying, wasting your time like that! no excuse really unless something really dramatic happened and she for some bizarre reason cannot pick up her phone. not very likely I guess.

The horse seems a great bargain and I'm sure you'll find someone more committed to be his lucky new owner. If I hadn't been moving away I would have been really tempted myself :-)

name and shame,brilliant
i dont know why they do it !!!
i hate waiting around for people who havnt got the decency to ring and apologies and say i cant come now !!!
putting your life on hold for a non starter is a pain in the arse !!!

I think people change their minds for whatever reason and haven't the bottle to ring and say so! Also some people enjoyringing and asking about things (horses, houses, cars) but haven't the money or whatever to actually BUY. Hope the right person turns uo soon.

Just seen your little one on project horses... I LOVE the last line 'Don't bother contacting me if you are a child or teenager, I will only speak to adults'! Brilliant!
I think she's lovely S, if things were different here I'd have her in a shot. I love the oddballs that need a one-to-one relationship

Hope you do find her a nice home though, without too much time wasted.
Oh, and I don't know the lady in question otherwise I'd gladly kick her up the ass for you!

Guess some people are just brought up with no manners, or just do not think, although they would probably be the first to complain, if the shoe were on the other foot !. It is annoying and extremely rude. The least someone could do is let you know they are running late or have changed their mind.

Inconsiderate to say the least. Can you up the price a bit, or, at least not haggle, if she turns up and is interested?

I am of the 'Cut off my nose to spite my face' mentality with people like this, someone turned up two days later than arranged to see a mare of mine, with no notice, expecting the horse to be ready for viewing. I pointed her out in the field and the woman went into raptures, "Too bad you couldn't have let me know you were still interested" says I, "I sold her yesterday!" It took me another month to sell her, but the satisfaction was worth it

Oh crikey it seems she is called SAM BROWN , not the other name....Trouble with name and shame you have to get it right first time...Apologies Sam H, the name was on an older email...

No email, no phone call and now it's after 8pm..
be warned folks, I took her phone number thinking that she was OK, she's obviously a dreamer...
On the good side the filly looks a lot nicer with a pulled mane and had her feet trimmed quietly today. She looks as though she may be worth more!!
