Nicely passive aggressive there Princess. Nothing said specifically but interestingly you pop on and make TheoryX1 aware that you have seen her comments. Lovely when someone lives up to their own hype!
My horses are like yours Lucie. I can't stand them in mud. Most days are all day as I put out plenty of hay and have invested heavily in waterproof warm attire so they can stay out. 24/7 is great if you have plenty of land for rotation and places to keep metabolic type horses. But I prefer mine not to have to stand in mud 24/7. Personally I don't see the point, but that's a personal opinion. Plus I think it's always a good idea for horses to know what a stable is for whatever might arise. Mine don't seem to mind as they're waiting at the gate every single evening. They must agree.
I do have issues with calling a 3yo a competition horse. Bringing in from the field one day and going from zero to 60 and then blaming starting at a young age for the fact they're broke down and need retired. Slamming a young horse in a stable unless its working does way more damage but hey to each his own. No one seems to get starting horses sympathetically with breaks and plenty of turnout while their still developing. Somehow magically starting at 4 or 5 means you don't have to worry about all that.
I have a very well rounded career doing a variety of things with horses for many years. I don't have to hide and be afraid of voicing my opinion. I also know that I can still learn from a variety of people. So I don't know it all and never will.
And I don't understand this CR being where all the intelligent people are. That's just close minded to me. Personally I don't get how people see a just got on baby bucking, tense, frightened, not knowing any of the basics, being a good example of horsemanship. But because it was a well bred warmblood in Holland with a rider that can clearly sit one, its ok. It's ok because that's a competition horse. Ok I guess leaving the basics out is ok because they're so athletic. I don't get that. But that's just me apparently.

not the first time the same comment has been made (repetitive anyone?) so it seems like TX has got a bit of a bee in her bonnet.
hype? do i have hype? amazeballs.........................................
I do my own thing, look after my horses and if anyone disagrees with the way I do it I listen, take on board any helpful points and use them if it works for me, ignore them if it doesnt. It does not bother me, nor do I get upset on the forum if anyone disagrees with my opinion. We are all entitled to our own opinions.
Now if you want to see a huge example of this, go onto CR when a certain couple of young ladies are posting pictures, offer some construtive critictism, or dont go oooh and ahh, pretty ponies etc, and then watch yourself get shot down in flames by them and all their friends. The threads normally go epic as well. It cracks me up, it really does because there are far more important things to worry about in life than how somebody does dressage. That will show you that its not just NL. Oh, and you will also get PMs from well meaning 'friends' advising you not to upset said ladies, or they will be 'nasty' to you. So scared!!!!! Its really, really funny.
OMG!! PM's saying they will be 'nasty' to you?! Who do they think they are, the Mafia?!!![]()
I am thinking of it like a sort of internet boarding school well what I can remember about boarding school.
Or the pretty popular girls in Buffy and American programmes like that.
................theres a saying somewhere about knowing you've *made it* when people cant stop talking about you, good, bad, or otherwise........

You do realise that these two posts give the impression that what TX is saying is true, and that perhaps you're one of the charming girls mentioned, right?![]()
To Princess Sparkle, no I dont have a bee in my bonnet for you at all. I just find it all incredibly funny, and oddly enough I didnt mention your name, you just assumed I meant you - you know what they say about assuming, it makes an ass out of u and me! Its an open forum and I thought we had freedome of speech in this country as well. However, yes I have had some of your online friends telling me that I had better be careful with what I say on your threads.
Surely that's a breach of rules on here? It sounds almost threatening!
It probably was a breach of the rules, but to be fair I have far bigger fish to fry in my life than worry about something like that, and found it incredible for these people to think that I was going to be scared by something like that. God, do these people not realise what I do for a job in 'real life', and not internet forum land, and how bloody scarey I am in real life! Get a life people!

LOL, have we got a full on Mean Girls squabble going on?
Can anyone join in or do we just get the popcorn and watch.![]()
I'd like to clarify that I most certainly have not been doing any threatening, and have not asked anyone el to either and cannot in fact control what other people do of their own free will.
To say, oh I'm not scared, but to go and say how scarey you are in real life is surely just a thinly veiled threat of the same sort? And it also sounds like common thugs boasting......but continue to enjoy being scary![]()
oh do be quiet.
Love it that the forum has the measure of certain users. I haven't been around that long but long enough to know what's what.
Notice that nobody has mentioned PS by name but she has firmly decided these posts are about her (or why else would she attempt to explain/defend?). I would suggest it is because she DOES recognise her own actions in the poor behavious being discussed. There can't possibly be any other explanation.
Oh doooo bog off![]()
