Why is adopting a dog from a rescue so difficult?

I'd be very careful giving dogs away free! This seems like a scam.
 
It’s a site on face booked called …senior dogs needing rehoming UK
They save dogs from being pts .They have some desperate dogs needing rehoming urgent homing ..Please take a look .Kel is the one running the site and is doing a fantastic job ..If you need anymore information please let me know .Thank you for allowing me to post x

Honestly I’m not a scam.I understand your concerns.Please take a look at the site as kel rescue dogs from being …put to sleep ..Message kel if you like for more information .They are all part time volunteers .They do all the security checks before any dog is rehomed .But I understand your concerns!!! as I do when I see dogs being rehomed free !
 
Yes , She has many desperate oldies looking for loving homes and I seen there are a few members looking to give a loving home to a rescue dog x This was only reason I posted to rescue one of the dogs from her site .Yes please join but you have to answer the joining questions as she is strict on the rules for the site to keep all the dogs safe …

I only posted this site as I seen this message about people looking to rehome .Im sorry if I offended anyone but thought if someone rescued one dog that would have helped this fantastic site , If admin would like to remove this post I would not be offended !!!
 
It's a lovely idea but dogs don't always need rescuing from being PTS. As said upthread older dogs can struggle to readjust.
I did take an older girl from the Cinnamon Trust and it worked well but if the dogs are in kennels or foster prior to rehomlng it can affect them. Health issues are expensive in older dogs is there help in place to assist with vet fees if needed?

To be honest you would have to contact this site to answer any questions .Iv only shared the site as I said I seen this post .

Well good luck, so long as they’re not being farmed in, particularly not from the continent - altho could hardly breed seven year old-plus dogs to flog on!

Oh bless Ty .I only joined the site as my granddaughter has a horse .This message popped up and it’s my first post ..But I totally understand all the questions but I’m happy to reply to what I only know about the site .If you would like more please contact kel on that site .Thank you for the support of some members offering to help her xx
