Why isnt the Norwegian Fjord mohawk more popular on other breeds?

It had got the punky because the person that we bought him from only had him 3 months and hadn't done anything with it in that time. He had it long after that for a while, I sort of forgot about it, then the forum told me to pull it 🤣 so it did spend most of it's life pulled and plaitable, bit longer for showing, shorter or hunting season 🤣.

He looks gorgeous both ways! With a mane he's the spitting image of my favourite horse in Breath of the Wild 🥰 but that bottom photo might be what pushes me over the edge into chop chop territory! ✂️ 😍

I had a TB mare with a thin neck and huge bushy mane - looked terrible! So I gave her a crest with a scissor trim. Not quite hogged and not a mohican, left the forelock intact, and she looked stunning. We didn't do showing, she was an all-rounder best at endurance and XC so we didn't have to please any judges!
