You don't want to hear this, but people don't mess about if the price is right. They buy quickly,since they know someone else will get it if they delay.
Questions, offers etc are buyers who are potentially interested in the item. If they then drop you, it's because you haven't cut a deal, and they are content to look elsewhere.
Simply not true! There are so many chancers out to rip you off!
When i last sold a saddle i had loads asking stupid questions or offering insulting amounts.
About 3 weeks in one lady bought it, no stupid questions, at asking price.
