Just for my indulgence please clarify exactly what you mean by "baiting" as opposed to "hunting".

And yes if Carreg confirms that the post originated on the said site.

I will condemn that particular individuals behaviour on that particular incident.

By doing so it would prove what exactly?That some people post idiotic things perhaps. Or make unsubstantiated claims perhaps?

Off the top of my head I'd say baiting was deliberately setting one animal onto another so they fight.

If our Carreg confirms that that post was "genuine" it will prove that you were wrong to refer to "non existent posts" by terriermen boasting about abusing the fox. Secondly, it will provide strong evidence that Severndoodah was wrong to say terriermen never bait the quarry.

Exactly, who even knows if it happened, some kids (and by the way its written I can't think it was an adult) boast and exagerate.

Reg, some teens in the town attached a firework to a tortoise and it ended up with a cracked shell, this doesn't mean given a firework every teen would do the same thing. Some kids and teens, whether brought up rurally or in towns and cities do stupid things and unfortunately horrid things to animals. That particular poster is yet to learn to repect his quarry.

Carreg is an example of terriermen that I know.

Which was what your referred to owner was going. But not what legitimate Terriermen do. There is a huge difference between the two. But you wont accept that now will you?

Firstly I don't accept that the said poster was a legitimate Terrierman. Owning terriers does not make you a terrierman.
I own terriers I use them for a number of different functions, foxing, rabbitting, ratting, beating on game shoots. to name but a few. But I do not consider myself a Terrierman.

Again wrong it would prove no such think as Severn Mistletoe being a well informed and knowledgeable person on such matters understands the difference between a terrier owner and a Terrierman.

Like I said I use terriers to kill foxes, from time to time. But I dont consider myself a Terrierman.

Lots of stupid people do lots of stupid thinks "Just for the hell of it". You don't tar everybody with the same brush. Not all teenagers are TWOCers and joy riders, now are they?
