Will my filly turn grey?

Coincidence. :)

Here's my grey (pictured with her dam and then at 2yo), she's heterozygous and was pure white by the time she was two. She then went fleabitten and gets more fleabites with each coat change.

Her sire, who is also heterozygous, has greyed out a lot slower, he's still darker than she is and is a lovely dapple grey at the moment.
 
Ah ok, thanks Faracat! Perfect example too! She's lovely.

I also thought that the type of grey also seemed to be passed on, I know a grey stallion whose offspring are usually that strange pink grey colour before they turn white.
 
Are you thinking of 'rose' grey? That's when the horse is either chestnut or bright bay before it greys out, so it looks pink (not to be confused with Roan) before it greys out further.
