I am moving my horse to grass livery temporarily but have rubber mats which I really don’t want to sell!

Storage is a little issue, so will rolling them ruin them!?
Or has anyone got any storage ideas?
Thanks! ☺️

I had some old heavy rubber mats which we rolled up to store... i didn't need them for longer than planned and they cracked and perished.
I'd try and store them flat somewhere if you can.

yes rolling them will mean they won't lie flat in a new stable, the edges will curl up and it is difficult to keep the edges down when that happens. It is a really bad idea. Best to store them flat.

Can you store them flat on your garage floor, or empty your garden shed lay them flat on the floor then put things back in the shed on top of them. They will take up a lot of room rolled up.

We stored spare, old Kaiburg mats flat outside for 2 years without problem. The ones in the stable at the moment are curled up against the wall as they're too big, but in case we move stables, we don't want to cut them. When we drag them out to clean, they lie perfectly flat, probably because they're so heavy.

If you do need to roll them for any length of time, always turn them upside down first.

Then when you put them back down, the edges won't try and curl up, they'll try and curl down, and the floor will flatten them out.
