I do like to do a bit of window shopping and this little wild bay chap caught my eye.

I hope he gets a nice home.

Does anyone else like to window shop? It would be nice to see what catches your eye. :)

Wow, What a smasher he is.

I window shop all the time, I'm just counting down the years until I finish studying so I can buy again :( Though occasionally I have to give myself a slap as a few horses just seem perfect and I have to tell myself NO, NO don't do it! I've came close a few times haha :D

You could call it window shopping I suppose, but I prefer it to think of it as preparation - for when I win the lottery and need to fill my luxurious super dooper yard with lots of gorgeous horses. It is inevitable so I must be ready for it...

Otherwise this one, he's in France though so it's a french ad. ;)

Ooh he's nice - pretty sure my next one will be an appy, or an arab, or both! Not quite ready yet, having to rein myself in atm.
I'm a serial lurker on Whirlwinds appy site too, (not sure if a link's allowed?) and also went to the ApHC uk show to 'window' shop.

When I window shop I find loads that I like the look of, tick all my boxes, look stunning and I could afford. Now I'm actually looking I can't find bog all....

LOL. :D Well you never know, your numbers could come up.

It's true, shopping for real is far, far harder.

Lovely horses everyone. A couple that I'd love to have myself too - I'd love to have another youngster. My sister would love Frosty. I hope that Garry lands on his hooves.

Oh definitely this ^^ I found it annoying at first, but I do like to have a click over on the right when a nice pic flashes up. It boosts the viewing numbers up incorrectly though ofc.

Yes, for real shopping is a nightmare :D

Hahaha, Im gald its not just me!

I spent a loooooong stressful time finding Henry, but I still find myself keeping an eye on whats about and day dreaming about having more!

Ooh yes all the time. Realistically I know I can't really have a second and I love my boy dearly ...but if I could I think it would be a native hairy type...maybe highland or fell pony, something small, compact and stocky.

I'm thinking of getting a Welsh pony (sec b) for a driving/companion for my new arab, I do love them :)

Window shop frequently. Even keep horses saved in my Virtual Stable on Horsequest, just in case!
I don't know why people find buying so hard, all the mares are non-Marish and everything is non spooky, brave, forward, sound .........

I have a Welsh section a on livery here at the moment his very lovely and he looks just like a mini Arab, I saw they had a few youngsters for sale very local to me and was very tempted as they were going for silly money, where are you in the country?

He's by Stival, so he's a Gazal Al Shaqab grandson. :D *gets all excited about bloodlines*

I know and I love both of them do you know his dam line might have to message the seller and ask his got the sweetest face, I wonder if I could get away with bringing another one home without the oh noticing, as long as I only have two of them in the stable at any time I don't think he would notice :)

I only know what's on the ad. I wonder if Stival is to approved mares only? If he is, then she's bound to be nice.

I bet your plan would work. ;) :p :D

Not sure a friend used stival on one of her mares a few years ago and she got a lovely filly, he looks good quality so I imagine she is nice, your very naughty putting him on here :)

Well I do like keeping an eye on what's about even though I really, really can't buy anything at the moment. There's also a Shanghai EA son on preloved. The worst though was when my grey's full brother was on arabianlines. I really had to sit on my hands then. Luckily they decided to keep him and withdrew his ad. Phew!

It looks like I'm not alone anyway. Quite a few HHO'ers like window shopping too. :p

I was the same. I think once you start asking questions they get crossed off the list

Me too. Loads of horses to my wish list spec if I live in Devon, Sussex, Essex, or even Scotland, but very little in Yorkshire. I am going to a dealer, Kentonwood, in Liverpool on Friday. I liked his style, "we have 20 odd that may suit you, come and have a rummage round." They seem to have some nice comments on HHO, so we will see.
