I got my ex racer, Pete, in January this year just before the bad bout of snow. He was already in a very poor condition and I have just started to see an improvement in him. I am desperate for him not to lose all his weight again this winter. Last winter we fed him speedi beet. I was looking at the cooked cereal conditioning meal. I think Baileys and Badminton do one of these. It sounded like it had more calories in it. What do people who feed this think of it/how does it differ from speedi beet?
Or if anyone feeds another product in the winter to bulk up the feed that they think is particulary good?
Thanks,
Laura and Pete.
