Looking for recommendations for insulated warm winter riding boots. I get really cold feet when hacking in colder weather and thermal socks don’t help, there isn’t much room in my current boots for thicker socks

Looking at Ariat Coniston/Grasmere or Brogini Kendal boots, or any other suggestions, thank you!

I have Mountain Horse warm lined short lace up boots for winter. I was sold them by an excellent saddler when I started hacking in a very cold January. 2003. She sold me thick wool socks too and thermal socks to wear as well. These boots do however need larger stirrups and half chaps than my everyday Ariats.

I have Coniston Pros and they are super toasty, they're fine for hacking but for anything else I'd choose insulated Bromonts really. But I do prefer structured riding boots really, i normally school in my stiff boots as I like the feeling they give. the Conistons are great for being able to do the yard and be in the fields and just hop on and hack out without needing to change boots though.

Thanks MP. These are the ones I have my eye on, I would use my other boots for schooling, the feet don't seem to suffer as much compared to hacking! The price is a bit :oops: but I can't put a price on toasty toes, best get saving...
