The dentist came the other day and removed the last of Inkys caps that were being stubbon and not coming off

She said he has a wolf tooth that might need to come out but i wondered whether it was worth it seeing as he wont ever be bitted. Would this still cause him some problems if its left in??

I think wolf teeth are one of the main teeth that can get infected....so unless its already starting to look unhealthy I'd be asking why it need removing..

Some people believe that wolf teeth should always be removed as they may cause problems. Others say 'if it aint broke don't fix it'. I have a show jumper who has one wolf tooth, it is causing him no worries at all, he's going well so I am leaving it alone. If at some point I feel it is causing a problem then I'll reappraise & it'll probably be taken out.
