Shame they've not got Mike Tucker commentating that would have been hilarious. The horses are being saints. I really don't like the attitude of the commentators blaming the horses for getting fences down etc and stopping.

That grey was not suited to this at all I wouldn't think!! At one point I thought it was going to throw a paddy with her!
Shame really as it didn't give her much chance and she had to ride far too strong to be able to jump a proper round!

They would certainly ensure the standard of riding improved with risk minimised for the ponies (since they're not going to do anything they absolutely don't have/ want to!)

so basically the HHO answer to improving the standard of riding in the MP is to replace the showjumping phase with 'survive a lesson on a riding school pony' then?
