I have tried most pellets - including Liverpool and to be honest I have gone back to Natures Best as I have found that most of the others are very dusty and break down far too fast. The natures best seem to stay whole much longer and as a result last much longer.
I haven't found anything I don't like about the pellets except for their colour as you don't get a fluffy white but more a sand colour which makes some think you've got a dirty bed but as nobody else is here it doesn't worry me! I also think they're a bit optimistic to say one 10kg bag of them is equivalent to a bale of shavings, more like one and a half of pellets but it's still far cheaper than a bale of shavings whichever way you look at it if they cost £7 or more which mine were.
They're much quicker to muck out, you take much less out so don't need to add more as often which makes both your muckheap and barrow much smaller for longer which is much better if you have a bad back like me too. If you have it in plastic bags it can be stored outside on a pallet so doesn't take up much room then either. If you have undercover storage and the means to lift them in place, you can have it loose in tonne bags which is quite a bit cheaper (which I've done this year) Even if I could afford any bedding I liked with the exception of Sundown Yellow which I also love but find harder to get hold of at a fair price, I would always stick with the pellets.
I agree - I use the pellets and wouldn't use anything else now. I have piccy's of my beds that I took for someone else who they wanted to see what they look like etc - be happy to send them if anyone wants to see. PM me
we have just got a pallet in from LWP with no problems. i muck it right out daily so it does stay white. It takes about 20 mins as my horse is an absolute poo machine. Two other liveries have converted to pellets after seeing how easy they are.
I love Natures Best find the whole wood pellet bedding great can't fault it just LWP seems quite alot cheaper but lokking at Natures Best that has gone up ALOT since last year
