Emhill, the death penalty is too good for this type of person, I want to know where the HR people were when this poor baby boy was being murdered. Defending the so called rights of another **********. Or maybe campaigning for the HR of someone in another country. They really don't see what is going on right under their noses.

Its the tax payers that support and finance the prisons, pay for the TV's, 3 square meals a day, and so called rehabilitation, so its the tax payers that should stand up and be heard. If your dog bites someone, even in defence of its property against a burglar (who by the way can press charges against you), the authorities would demand, by law, that it was PTS, yet they allow this type of person to live? Do you really want to sponsor this type of person.................................? Well with every hard earned penny that goes to the government, that is exactly what you are doing.
 
I am utterly shocked and disgusted by what these people have done to their baby.I hope they get commited to somewhere like Broadmoor.Surely no sane person could do this to an innocent baby.It makes me sick to think that a fellow human being could do this.I work in mental health and years ago women were sterilised if it was thought they couldnt cope with having a child.Maybe sterilisation is the right solution to people who harm children in anyway.

That is a whole nother debate.
At the end of the day, these 'people' are murderers, they deserve to go away for the rest of their LIFE, not 'life' as in 10yrs or whatever is handed out to them. I realise the state (us) have to pay for this, but as has been said, the only other alternative is the death penalty. Many people would oppose this.
I am not sure that prison life is as easy as it seems for some people. A lot of killers try to take their own lives, so surely it can't be that carefree.......

The parents are inhuman, I know what I'd like to do to them, but I'll be hoping that the book is thrown at them, and they meet some nice big tattooed 'friends' in prison who may have similar ideas to me.

The social workers. I dunno. I work for a gov dept, and the red tape/restrictions/rules/practice/management can so often be a barrier to doing what needs to be done in my job. I can only imagine how much worse it is for them. Until there has been an investigation, I'd personally choose not to blame the actual social workers involved, but rather to suspect that the system has once again let down an innocent child.

Sanctions against excessive breeding? Removal/cap of benefits, may be worth looking into, but is this case, was the little lad an only child? Could these particular courses of action changed anything for him?

State decides who is fit to breed? No absolutely not - for the same reasons that the system has let down so many innocents in the past.
 
oh my gosh how disgusting. the part about the back injury made my blood boil it really did.
what sort of sick sick individual gets pleasure or even feels NOTHING as they are bending a child over banisters so hard to break their back?!
that poor child.there are some b****y sick sick people in the world that really sound like they are such a danger they should be pts.
i begrudge paying my taxes knowning they are going towards police investigations and trials and finally the imprisionment and upkeep of these monsters.
