*Goes to sulk in the sulky corner* Just found out a clinic I was looking forward to has been cancelled (not enough booked on to make running worthwhile which is totally understandable just gutted as it’s someone who doesn’t come up my way often who I’d love to have a lesson off). All the other WE clinics near me in the near future clash with me working or with other prebooked stuff (well apart from one this Sat but my lorry is currently away having more holes cut in it to stop the pony getting too hot if we have some more 30 degree weather when Summer eventually arrives!). Definitely a first world problem and as the first competition that I’ll actually be able to get to is June I’m sure I’ll manage to get some practice in before then.

Oh and on a non working equitation sulking note I was foolish enough to go hacking today in gale force winds & now my hi viz hat silk is no more! I sure as hell wasn’t getting off to chase it down the road!

I'm not sure. It is new to this, we’ll call it, place. I hadn’t heard of it before and thought I could tootle about doing it at my own pace in my old age. I thought it would be like handy pony. I was always rubbish at that but didn’t much care.😀
I have no idea where to look for other lessons either.
Also I have to drive the horsebox 40 miles just to collect and return F from the yard without the journey proper so distance is relevant.
That must have been really disappointing. You were there for a lesson, not to wander around on your own. Why on earth did she think you were there? Don't give up on WE yet, with the right instructor it is loads of fun, and very useful training.

Thank you. I am not sure if there are any other clinics reasonably close. This is the first I’ve heard of within a doable travelling distance
