Just got worm counts back on my 4 horses that share the same grazing… 3 are zero or very low the 4th is high (was low 8 weeks ago) obviously the 4th needs worming but would you do the others as well??

Send me a dm and I’ll give you a copy of the New Bolton Center protocol for deworming.

ive been in a similar situation with mine where some are high shedders and others are low. I deworm mine several times per year on a strict schedule and everyone gets something at the same time.

I've one that would have medium or high worm counts and the other would come back no eggs seen. I was getting worm counts done through my vets and only needed the worm the medium/high wc one.

There is a school of thought that one animal (I read a study about goats) in a herd will act as the 'mopper-up' (I'm sure a more scientific term was used:):):)) that is the only animal that needs frequent worming.
