If the active ingredient is the same does it matter which brand of wormer you use?
For example strongid p is pyrantel embonate, and the blurb says treats gut dwelling roundworms and small red worms and a double dose for tape.
Pyratape p is also pyrantel emobonate but says it does large and small red worms, ascarids and pinworms, also tape if it’s a double dose.
So same underlying ingredient but according to promotional text/product descript they cover/target different worms.
Would they both cover the worms mentioned or is there something else that actually makes them target different worms?!
(No real reason to ask so seems a bit silly to call westgate etc to ask if someone on here knows!)

they're identical, it's just a marketing thing. I tend to buy whatever is cheaper assuming they have the same concentration so would treat same size horse. there's a big variation in cost of ivermectin brands for example...adds up when you have 7 horses :oops:

It's what I do there are a lot of unknown brands that are much cheaper but basically the same.
