Thats all very well and good Tamba - well done for turning around that horse - but have you thought about the fact that the OP's horse may well end up in the hands of someone not so gifted as you, the OP cannot possibly ensure a home for life if she gives this horse to someone else. She has already said that their trainer (a professional) has stated that there is no certain future for the horse.
You have to remember that once a horse has gone, its gone. Its not cruel, its not going to look down from rainbow bridge with a huge grudge and chip on its shoulder wishing it had lived longer to experience the sales rings!

Yes, I understand the horse could end up with the wrong owner, however if you have a look at project horses web site, there are about 50 horses on it at one time, with all kinds of behavioural issues. If you are honest about what you have, there are people out here who would be delighted to have the horse. ( If I didnt have 7, I wouldnt say no)
Any horse you sell, you cannot guarantee they will end up in good hands, but thats the risk you take, when you sell.
That horse could still have a lovely home, with people to love it.. regardless of its behaviour. Its only a young horse, and from what I understand from this post, the horse has not been properly checked, back, etc, and it could very well be pain related. I have expereience with many horses int he past, who are unhappy due to pain, and having just read the first post regarding buying the horse, it only cost her 600. pounds, which makes one think there could be a pain issue, and it hasnt been investigated properly from what I have read.
I dont care how much others disagree, I believe a horse should be given a chance to live a happy life.
